I thought id give alittle bio about me on here. i am a 29y/o Us Navy Corpsman. (HM2) i started working on cars, really i started in car audio when i was around 14-15 y/o. this is the first motor swap i have done or attempted. i am not a mechanic, as you can see i work on people not autos, this is just a hobby. i do intend on racing this car when i am finished though which should be soon. the reason i put this up is so that you would know that everything i am doing i am doing myself, with guidance on some stuff from friends. so pls take the time to rate the build. i know its not a pretty engine bay but it isnt meant to be a show car either, i am building a functional race car. attempting to anyways. but i will clean it up a little. so pls take the time to rate my build and leave comments.
Update: the car is no longer at abel after being there for near three months and never haveing anything done to it other than hacking up the wiring i had it towed home and am now in the process of learning the wiring myself.
There were approximatly 253,000 240sx's built for the states between 1989-1998 of which there were right around 8000 converted over to convertable, which might sound insignificant but that number is actually less than the amount of acura nsx's sold in the us. which is an awesome car i might add. the convertable was only offered for 3 years (92-94)what you are seeing is the transformation of one of these convertables. there might be around 6000 or less still on the road after 15+ years.
17 Sept i traveled down to texas to pick up my new baby. this was here when she was stock.

soon after getting her home i immediatly did a seafoam treatment, she smoked for a good 5-10 min.

here are a couple interior pics.

the one thing i really liked about this car other than the fact that it was a convertable 240 sx, as if you need any more lol, was that it already had a 5spd swap done.
