So the latest from my VW dealer is that, the previous owner of my car swapped the enigine out for an Audi 2.0t...it explained alot, becuase there were sensors for VW that werent communicating with the Audi engine...They dont know what happened or why they did it, nothing was on the carfax about it, but I guess I should be fortunate that I have a slightly bigger engine than the stock 1.8turbo....I had always noticed that alot of the parts were Audi, I had always chalked it up to Audi and VW having interchangeable parts....I cant complain, I love this car, and it a beast...best car I will ever own period.

Hope to be rockin the DE tags soon

haha I got through it though. That was the worst part of the whole trail because it was under a thick cover of pine trees, so it was a lot colder there than the other places. I had it up to the grille in mud a couple times and I took it across a stream. It didn't have any trouble at all with anything other than that frozen spot. I got through that first spot just fine when I was heading back up to the road and I had dug up the bottom real bad the first time I went through

I took the truck up a power line trail today. I went to go over a frozen over puddle, thinking it was only a thin layer of surface ice, but it was about four inches thick and I drove on top of it for a second, and then fell through into about bumper deep muck and the ice was preventing me from going forward or back anymore than a foot in either direction, so it took me like 20 mins to ram it all out of the way. I thought it was going to be the end of that truck right there
