Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like you to meet "DOLA"
As you all know I was planning to buy another DSM. Well as far for the first Ad I drop it (Not worth the price. 1990 Eclipse GSX 2K with 155K miles). Few Months later I found a 1992 Eagle Talon TSI selling for 1K with 110,000 Miles (so I said why not). I drove 1 hour just to see this dam car. This is my first time seeing a Eagle Talon TSI in real life. Like I said before these DSM are rare on Maui.
What I plan to do with this car is sad. Reason why buying another DSM. Like I said before I needed a 6Bolt 4G63T for my 2G so here it is. Knowing its the only good looking talon (well exterior wise) here on Maui. I hate to tear it apart. Sorry to all you DSM Talon fans out there. One day I'll own a Talon to cherish until then.
As far for the swap. What will I need? I know the basic stuff like oil cooler, 6Bolt AWD flywheel, etc... Right now I planning to just do a stock swap (due to money issues). But, what is the best option to do before putting the block into my 2G. Should I change any of the pistons? For example since Im going to the cheap route right now, I heard using the 2G pistons and 1G rod works best. Should I take the turbo too since its better? Should I go with the 6bolt long block or a 6bolt short block with 2G head? Please any suggestions would be great.
As you can see behind the Talon. How low my 2G is.
