My last project car (an unassuming '03 Toyota Echo) was ungraciously rear ended by a very rude city bus mid-January of 2008. The frame was bent, but still driveable. Three months later, I was sideswiped by a minivan who suddenly swerved out of his lane......to avoid being hit by (oh, the bittersweet irony) a city bus .
Sadly, it was a total writeoff.
The sweet, silver lining is the car you see before you.
Purchased on May 6th, 2008 .
It didn't take long before the modding bug bit once again and it has slowly developed into this.
It's a work in progress, to be sure, but my short-term goal is to be showing the car by next summer. We'll see where it develops from there!
