Sparibaukur in Icelandic means "Piggy Bank" This Five Series BMW LCI is amazing it drives wonderfully and even with the small 2,0 ltr. Diesel and new 6 speed automatic it moves swiftly, 177 Hp, 350 Nm and 8,4 sec 0 to 62 mph. Which would have put many a GT machine of yesteryear to shame. What it does best though is MPG, in town over 30 MPG and highway over 50 MPG for a full-size luxury car !! BMW Efficient Dynamics at work with only 149 g/km CO2 emissions for the automatic which is very important in this day and age.
18 inch BMW Wheels
Here are my new 18 inch Wheels from a 645, one of two sets of Type 118 in Iceland !

Toyo T1R tires 245/40x18 on 8x18 Type 118
H&R 15mm Spacer pushes the rear wheels out to fill the rear wheelwells, just right !
The change is dramatic both the look and driving !
Black Shadowline 5 Series. The only chrome is around the grill kidneys,
exhaust tip and the BMW emblems front and rear !
The Std 16 inch wheels will be for winter tires
Behind the BMW "Kidneys" flaps close for aerodynamic efficiency and only open to cool the engine when needed !
Here the H&R Spacers will come in handy when I mount the Winter tires again
to move the rear wheels out to fill those rear fenderwells
What do these "eyes" remind you of ? The Terminator !!
