I thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to be steward of these 5 cars. All five of them have their own style and inimitable looks. Old School car is really a big part of me as a person. I told my wife that even if God bless me with modern cars which I know He will, I'll make sure that there is an Old School car parked in my own garage. Preferably my 1st love, a Fullly Restored KP61/62 Toyota Starlet. Well obviosly, if you take a look at the genealogy of my cars, 3 out 5 fall in the category of KPs. But nah, this page is for TE-SOY! Forget about the KPs for now! I have a habit of naming my cars. I'm having a hard time naming the wagon till I decided to post TE-SOY at cardomain. I got the name TE-SOY from the Filipino slung word "TISOY" which means "mestizo" or half breed of any kind. Since this car is imported from the U.S. and now residing here in R.P. i decided to name him "TE-SOY". I just changed the 2nd letter from I to E since hes a TE38 Corolla Wagon. You'll see the names of the other 4 at the list. Thanks for viewing my page. Enjoy and God bless you all!
This is the 5th old school car that God allowed me to be the steward. It's a 1978 TE38 Toyota Corolla Wagon. I never imagined my self driving this car ever since until today. Here's the genealogy of the cars that God blessed me with.
1. "PEPSI BLUE" KP61 2DOOR 1981 TOYOTA STARLET
2. "MELLOW YELLOW" KP62 2DOOR 1982 TOYOTA STARLET
3. "QUICK SILVER" RT114 2DOOR 1976 TOYOTA CORONA MACHO
4. "AVOCADO" KP62 2DOOR 1981 TOYOTA STARLET
5. "TE-SOY" TE38 1978 TOYOTA COROLLA WAGON
This is the 1st car on the list. KP61, TRD N2, 4AGE with twinside Weber 40. Spend a lot on this one to make it how it looked on the photo.
This is the 2nd car. KP62, simple clean paint, chrome front and rear bumpers, 4k stock engine. Friend Bob own this toy now.
This is the 3rd car. 76 Corona Macho Machine, 18R engine (the carabao engine, that's what they called it), all original fully restored. Friend Rayel own this Japanese Muscle car now.
This is the 4th car. KP62, TRD N2, 4K stock engine, pair of Recaro SR3 seats. I and wife decided to buy this one due to non-stop increase on gasoline price. This car is still mine and is currently for sale.
And now the 5th car. "TE-SOY" TE38 1978 Toyota Corolla Wagon U.S. Version. This car is very rare here in the Philippines. Very clean inside and out. Rare that i've never seen anyone drive this car in the streets of Metro Manila and Santa Rosa Laguna (atleast up to this time). I think that's the X-Factor of this car.
Original Corolla Steering wheel. You can see the old school corolla logo. Dash is still in prestine condition. Guages are still working except with the temp guage. But I'll work it out soon. Look at the wood design of the panel. Looks clean huh?
Center Dash console and the passenger side. The aircon vent is still intact but previous owner decided to install the hang type a/c coz the original blower is not working that well.
The front interior of TE-SOY. All black leather and black carpet. It's kinda blur coz i just woke up when i took the shot. Still sleepy but go go go!!!
The engine bay. I don't have the talent or should i say the patience to do the detailing of the engine/bay. Bank colleague Archie "D ACTOR" volunteered to do the detailing not only the engine bay but also the exterior and interior of TE-SOY. Ofcoarse as they said "Presyong Kapatid" lang. Hahaha!
Side view of the engine. Engine is a stock 1600 2T w/manual 4 speed tranny.
Some shots taken outside the house in Santa Rosa.

Car wash after installing new set of Japan Zona Mesh and 175x50x13 tires. Gone are the mosport. All set for the GT EB at D Fort.
Side view. Finishing touch before take off. What do you think of the new shoes raffy?
KP's VS TESOY. Sid and Raffy VS Mek. I got sandwitched by two KP's with both having Hi-Horse 4-age engine. Obviously, it's a no contest. 2 KP's against 1 TE38...
Another shot taken at Caltex EDSA Connecticut. Raffy needs coffee coz it's "siesta" time already. Hahaha! Go na tayo Raf!
Last shot na before take off... Tara na Raffy and Sid!
