FOR SALE. 1987 944, 51K MILES - EXTREMELY LOW MILEAGE, FULL CUSTOM INTERIOR, High Quality STEREO SYSTEM - SEE PICS BELOW
I recently bought a 944 Turbo (And when I can cardomain to upload the damn pictures I'll post some) and am selling this car. I have maintenance records dating back to 1991 and all receipts for custom interior work recently done. The car runs strong and is a lot of fun to drive. The car in it's current form won "Best Interior" at a Maryland car show I took it to last year.

The red car in the picture above is a 1987 Porsche 944 purchased in August of 2002.

Guards Red, has 53,000 original miles on it.
I bought it from a 70 yr old man who decided he couldn't drive anymore. He rarely used the car at all.
The car runs like a top and I have a huge binder full of receipts from things I've done and the last 2 previous owners. LOTS of records.
The car is equipped with an Autothority Short shift kit (this is the kind that mounts on the transmission itself - far superior to the hacksaw shift lever that most kits use), a Weltmeister Performance Throttle Cam, a Weltmeister Performance ECU chip, and a K&N air filter (which I just cleaned and re-oiled). The car runs Mobil 1 synthetic and does not leak a drop of oil, something that is very rare for 944's. The engine bay is spotless.
I also recently changed the gear oil to Mobil 1 synthetic and the shifts are smooth and precise - the short throw shifter, coupled with the aggressive Weltmeister throttle cam really makes for fun driving.

Clarion ProAudio DXZ925 Head Unit
SoundStream Pic1.900D Mono Sub Amp -
Soundstream Pic4.480 4ch
Soundstream Tarantula 4.6 for front stage
Soundstream Tarantula 6.5 for rear stage
Soundstream Davinci 10's for Sub stage.
Custom-built fiberglass sub enclosure for spare tire well.
BatCap 100 Farad Capacitor
All Stinger Expert Series Wiring

The subs are fiberglassed into the spare tire well, the rear end of the car is dynamatted to ensure no rattles.
The system is completely invisible when the rear seat back is folded down and the rear carpet covers the subs. You would look at the car and think it was stock, aside from custom Italian leather seats, steering wheel and dash. The factory alarm is surprisingly still in working order.
Fun to Drive!
