For the most part this is my wife Laura's ride. Her previous ride was an 85 5.0 Mustang which she always called her car, and would not part with it. That was until the show "The Apprentice" premiered the Solstice on one of its episodes. What a win for Pontiac.
The next day I was at the dealership before it even opened. Talking about a car none of the dealers even knew about. Need less to say we ordered one on April 15th 2005. The car did not get delivered until December 21st, but she was still not disappointed. We had Solstice 1 for nearly two years before we got the 08 GXP. What a change in power!
This car has to be the best priced performance for the money. Granted it has had some issues during it's development but once you get through it, you can't beat the excitement. And the wife looks great in it everyday as she leaves for work.
After hitting a pitbull, we paid a little extra to get a after market intercooler (Hahn), and fiber glass nose (Norm's). The car continues to get all the looks you'd want. I was not hooked on the F-430 look, but in the Solstice "Cool" color it is growing on me. Paint and body by, West side Body and Paint, Quartz Hill.
Lambo hinged doors complete, (VDI) door hinges.
Keep coming back and checking on our updates.
