These are some photos of the day I got my project 1967 Datsun 1600 roadster. As you can see it had alot of terrible primer on it and the front had some minor damage from what I imagine was a fender bender. All the damage was superficial. Ifound a donor 67 in town and took the front fenders hood and grille support. They are the pictures with the red front end. I am currently stripping the 2 layers of old primer, old repaint job, original paint and original primer to reveal the RUST FREE body. Thats right the car was in California until a few years ago and then it came to Vegas!! I have completed replacing nearly the entire brake system and put a new clutch master cylinder in it. It runs great and just needs the valves adjusted to be perfect.

Nice ride! I have a 67.5 1500 with a U20 and 5-speed. I just spent the last several days looking for a replacement for my radiator. I found a seller on E-bay, ledfoot_racing, and was getting ready to see if they would use my radiator as a prototype to create a Roadster version! Looks like you beat me to the punch! Was it ledfoot, or someone else that is building yours, and when will they offer them for sale? They may be happy to hear from me as it will confirm it was a good idea for them to build a Roadster rad.

The wheels on the car American Racing. The wheel is discontinued. CCW and others make a very nice mesh wheel. I think these were a 0 offset. 15x7

Nice! Post some more pics and any upgrades you did. check out my 67 1600 project! ******************************* Looks like a great start on a nice ride! Have you met Keith in Vagas? He's another roadster nut, but not in Cardomain. Sorry to come back with a comment, but I didn't see any way to answer you. When I tried to send you email, the page kept fading away to nothing. Need help with the roadster, email me at 9Laser3@bright.net Paul
