This is my father and son's project car. This car was started around ten years ago and sat under a car cover in the garage until my oldest son decided he wanted to drive it in his wedding. What followed was a one month whirlwind to get the car prepped, painted, and re-assembled to what you see here. You may also notice that there are no emblems, body molding or marker lights on the car (we shaved 'em) along with the vinyl top and it's trim, (evil laugh inserted here), lol.
Its a numbers matching car although the engine has been rebuilt using Competition cam, oversized valves, ported, polished and shaved heads, Hooker headers, dual exhaust with Flowmasters. Everything is new on the car including all body mounts, bushings, weather stripping, interior, even the stickers for jacking instructions etc. The transmission has been rebuilt with a shift kit and a stall torque converter. The car WILL run, tends to kick the rear around from 1st to 2nd. You GOTTA hold on, LOL.
Currently we are installing a stereo system with a Pioneer head unit, 6 tweeters, 6 3-way 6"x9" speakers, two Infinity 10" subs, a Bose 800 watt amp and two clarion 800 watt amps and custom boxes and side panels in the trunk of the car using fiberglass and color matching paint, blue neon and black vinyl facing to match the interior. More pics of that project as we move along with it.
