This is the last tire on my truck. The Super swamper Trxus STS, in a 39.5 15-16. The pros about this tire is the side bitters, the unique tread design, and how AWESOME there were in snow. Mud and rocks they wern't bad either. The cons are its poor tread life, now, the ones i had are bias ply tires so low tread life is a given (I got about 20,000 miles out of them). Believe it or not they're loud, but if your like me thats ok and think its cool. They are a bitch to handle on bumpy back roads. I figured "Oh an all terrian will handle like a caddy!" nope, i have hydro assist steering and they still fight me now and then. On the highway they rarley miss behave. For the record MUD TIRES HANDLE BETTER!!!! Now anyone else may agree completly or totally disagree. I'm not saying don't buy it, i'm sharing my experiance that i had with them. 40s may not handle as good as 35s i wouldnt know. and the big one is the COST, when i bought them over a year and a half ago they were $255.00 a piece. Now i can't find them cheaper than $300.00. (thats for the size i have now)

Here is my new current tire. I know i said it was gonna be the TSL but they are so damn expensive. I found these for a lot cheaper. This is the Michelin XL, It was used by the Military. The size i'm using is 14.50R20 Which means the size is like 43.4 inches tall 14.50 inchs wide and uses a 20inch rim, I think these tires would look sick on my HD, plus they would last a lot longer than the STS tires, like 40,000 miles. The only problem is i'd have to buy them used, Good luck findin new ones and not brakeing the bank. The load rating is a lot more than a normal tire, its a load range L thats a 22 ply tire!!!!!!! Thats ok since they got nobbies on them and they arnt as wide as the STS they should behave better on the street. I just put them on the truck and it handles like a caddy no fighting of the wheel at all!! The suspension seems better too. Bias Ply sucks I'm glad i bought these tires they handle great and they are radials.
