For all of those who are a Chevy Freak like me, lets all hope to god GM gets back up better than ever. Show you care BUY AMERICAN.
This is my 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. This Truck has been equipped with a Solid Axle Conversion! That means no more IFS Trash that can't take a heavy Thrashing. As you know from 1988 and up starting with the 1/2 Tons GM did away with SFA (Solid Front Axle) and in 1991 was the last year of the GM Dana 60 (1 Ton) front axle and Since then all GM trucks Came with IFS (Independent front Suspension) that just can't take abuse offroad like a Solid axle can. I choose a GM truck because in my opinion they have the best Drive train (Motor, Transmission ect.) And not only that i'm also a Die hard GM guy. So by undoing GM's wrong with the Front Axle Department I Changed it, and thats why when you look under this truck, you see a Solid axle and not A-arms or Half Shafts. All the work for this Conversion was done by the awesome skills at EMS Offroad.
