BOOST GAUGE INSTALL
OK finally i got around to creating this install guide and installing my boost guage. Now you people can go out and spend over 100 dollars plus money for the holder for a guage i find that stupid i went to autozone and got me a guage and holder(24.99 guage 19.95 holder). Just have to modify the holder is all lol and run the vacuum tube. SO lets get it .

now here is the wire of course it must be extended and modified for use for the light to come on

Lets extend it
Now find the fuel pressure regulator a prime choice for the boost guage lol. Form a "T" connection get another extra vacuum hose. Run the hose on the back wall of the engine bay and string it to it ends on the side of the car beside the battery

now take the Apiller out form inside the car. LOOK AT ALL THAT SPACE there is our hole and the spot where we are going to run it

Now run the cable to the top right of the battery beside the door. THERE is your hole to get inside the car. There are multiple ways to get inside the car i found this to be easier. So you pick your method. Run it though the top and there is a hole on the bottom where you see the red cable dont run it though the door lol it will end up on the inside of the car under the steering wheel. and run the vacuum hose straight up though the large hole where the Apiller was

now test fit the gauge to make sure it lines up. of course the holder does not fit you have to Heat it up and shape it alittle to make it fit.

Plug the guage into the cable to make sure the hose works and its not pinched anywhere. Of course you have to run the car lol

now you have to extend the power cable to the battery and run the cable the same way. yes you have to buy extra cabling etc DUH.

now i bought a switch the operate the light. one is power and the other is the ground. I ran the ground cable to the nut in the door frame. there is a bolt you can run it to in top of the speaker in the Apiller you choose. Carbon fiber Airplane toggle switch

Now i was running out of daylight and had to go to work the next day lol. SO i stopped right here. the holder did not fit the Apiller so i just double sided taped it until i got time. I ended up completing it CORRECTLY the next day after work lol. So look at everything today. Read on to see how to complete it properly

Yes the holder fit award and fell off when i was at work lol. I knew that so time to complete it correctly and run the vaccum hose on back but hey it worked for one day long enough to me to go to work and come home.
COMPLETED
you have to melt the hold so you can reshape it to make it bend to the apiller. i used a hair straightener. This puppy heated up to 440 degees. HOT enough to melt and bend it to your will be carefull you might be burned but its all worth it to save LOTS of cash. just shape one side of the holder so you can bend this thing to get the screws in llike so

now put the newly formed holder on the Apiller and place it to the location you want it in. Mark it and drill away. Once done with that put a screw in so its on the apiller now. Bend the holder to fit the piller and put screws in accordingly

Now once hold is on there FINALLY lol flip it on the back and drill a hole big enough for the vacuum hose to fit though.

Now go back and put the Apiller back into the car and run the wires like so. DONT FORGET YOU HAVE TO ZIP TIE THE VACUUM HOSE ON BOTH ENDS BEHIND THE GUAGE AND IN THE ENGINE BAY ON THE REGULATOR.

now put the guage in there and snap everything back in place dont forget you have to hook up the ground and plug the light into the gauge. now your ready to hook up the switch again to operate the light. this guage is not falling anywhere now :)

now i realized that my guage stopped working for some reason no problem i took it back to autozone and exchanged it for a chrome one. All that black did not make it stand out now it looks PIMP TIGHT and READS pressure lol i picked a lemon haaaaa.
INSTALL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope that helps you out lol next im getting a custom made carbon fiber blue shift boot to install stay tuned for that and yes shortly ill be getting my EVO tuned by Mellon tuning. Stay Tuned
