I got this car from a junkyard in early January. The day I went to pick it up, it was about 20 below! Well I got the car, and the guy said that there was a slight knocking noise. We pulled the engine out and there was a hole through piston #2.

I just got done installing an oil pressure gauge in the car, if my camera starts working i'll get some pics up later. when i got everything hooked up, i started up the car, and both connections leaked.. so i had to go back and solder the connections, and now its doing fine

UPDATE -8/15
I found some old gauges that my dad got as a present and that are going into the stang.. the car is finally running, i checked timing, pulled codes, changed oil, and everything seems fine, i guess i will have to wait to see if any problems pop up

-Update- 10/4

I figured out my cb that i had in my car was junk, so i picked up another one from a pawn shop.. and now i have a PA speaker, and it is the best $15 i have ever spent.. i finally got some money, and am gonna do some suspension upgrades to my car soon..

I also installed a water temp gauge, and an ammeter to go along with the oil pressure.. I made a plate out of plastic to mount the deck up higher, and now the three gauges are underneath the cd player, i will get some pics of that up here

-Update- 11/11

I found an 83 2.3l with a T-5 for $250. It is the perfect car to switch out trannies. My automatic is going to hell, and it is gonna be cheaper to get a t-5 in there, than to rebuild my A4LD.
