well anything that can go wrong will go wrong stuck again pulled the heads of found exhaust valves have sunk into the head need new heads now will have to pull the heads of my other motor this is getting to be bigger job than originaly planned back to the old drawing board for now
decided to fit 4bbl intake and 780 holly fitted manifold and carby ok found distributer was stuffed leads fell apart heater hose broke fuel line leaking fitted inline fuel filter where the hose was leaking oh well looks like dual point distributer as well to be fitted with the vacume advance
this photo shows kik down leaver short one is standard 2v long one is to suite 4bbl holly i added about 4 inches to an old kik down rod

4bbl 780 holly vacume seconderies on an edlebrock performer a manifold with a half inch spacer worked well on my last car
fitted heads from old car 4v valves ported with holly 4bbl intake that i got on ebay new electronic distributor fitted the 1970's calcustom rocker covers edelbrock air cleaner still need to fit exhaust manifold oil gauge lines fan radiator and plug leads then start her up and see how it realy should sound fireing on 8 cyl not 7
