This is my 1997 Ford Escort LX Sport. I bought it from my grandma when she wasn't able to drive anymore. She didn't want anything for it but my dad suggested give her $1250 for it, so i did. I bought it August 2007 and it had 24,500kms on it. Thats not a typo. She literally only drove it to the grocery store and church. It was practically a new car still and in MINT condition except for under the spoiler needed to be scrubbed down and buffed from not washing it. I took care of that quick and started throwing a bit of money into it. I started by replacing the spark plugs with BOSCH Platinum +4 spark plugs that i had in my previous car. I'm looking for some tips on how to get more power. So if you have any suggestions please leave me comment. Thanx.
In this pic you can see my limo black tint i put in. I think it looks good with the white car. And... The Dice.
These are my after market blacked out headlights, keeping my black and white theme. These were a bitch to install. I had to jack it up, take off both front wheels to get at the wheelwell covers to get at the bolts holding on the front bumper cover. I had to completely remove the bumper cover to get at the bottom bolts for the headlights. The picture on the right shows the car with the UltraWhite fog lights and custom grill installed.
These are my 17inch ADR Design rims with a 3 inch dish with low profile Nexen Racing tires with performance tread. Size 205/40/17ZR. I had to do some cutting and grinding on my quarter panels for them to not rub on turns and bumps.
****THE AUDIO****
My 800 Watt Sony Xplode amplifier bolted to the fold down seat for more room in the trunk. I'm a hockey player so i need all the trunk space i can get. This amp is more than enough power for the sound i want but I'd rather have too much and be able to turn it down than not enough.
This is my 10 inch Alpine S-Type sub in Alpine S-Type box. It pounds real good. Perfect for heavy metal. The double foot petal on the drums sounds awesome.
My Pioneer Premier head unit. Its peaks at 50W x 4 to the speakers.
Stock engine for now. I want to eventually put a turbo in if i can. And the muffler i got for free. Sounds nice deep tone.
