                                        ENGINE

                                                        351-2V V-8 Windsor

The engine, despite the way it looks, runs strong. No knocking. No overheating. Absolutely no problems other than old spark plugs and snapped drive belts. Those have been replaced so were in good shape. If you bother to read this than you'll hear me make a bunch of excuse about how I cant fix stuff because I don't have the proper tools, blah blah blah..... well its true. And when I am old enough to move out/make my own decisions, you will start to see a lot more being done. Basically all I am saying is that this project might take a while.

J-poMN's 1976 Mercury Montego J-poMN's 1976 Mercury Montego                 The Air conditioning and heat unit has definitely seen better days. It doesn't work. I wont even bother taking it apart because I don't know to much about the AC/heat unit.

A little rusty, huh? Lol. I am looking to take it apart ASAP, and sand it down/repaint it. Parts are very tough to find so I need to salvage and repair any parts I can.

If you plan on having a new stereo head unit. just build a small bracket to mount the stereo under the dash, or under you seat. then just run a lil bit of wiring.

THE PARKING LIGHTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ON WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE ON. THEN WHEN U TURN THE BLINKER ON IT SHOULD BLINK. MY CAR IS THE SAME WAY. AS WELL AS MY DADS 77 OLDSMOBILE.
