neeleyracing's 1999 Subaru Outbackneeleyracing's 1999 Subaru OutbackWell, this is her. Phoebe, my 1999 Subaru Outback. Picked her up sick as hell. Who'da thunk it? Blown head gasket. All repaired now, getting ready to do some major work to her to get her ready for the track. Lemme know what you think!

this is the car, clean as a whistle.

My buddy Cross and I, throwing on the first coat of temporary paint.

The finished product on the hood. very muscle-car like.

These are the temporary flames. There are permanent ones on there now that look a helluva lot better.

My buddy's Sentra and the Subie sitting in the gravel after a back roads race thru CT.

The wagon at the World One Meet. The car was CAKED in mud from the previous day's romp thru the woods.

Some new temp paint on the hood, just experimenting.

Tribal. Done while I was still in CT.

Me and my old sound system. it sucked, to be honest.

neeleyracing's 1999 Subaru Outback

The Subie without the grille. looked kinda cool.

neeleyracing's 1999 Subaru Outback

My old racing number. put it on the headlight.

neeleyracing's 1999 Subaru Outback

New Sound System. Little more low profile, sounds soo much better.

neeleyracing's 1999 Subaru Outback

New Amp. sounds pristine!!!

Fun with stickers. they look kickass.

neeleyracing's 1999 Subaru Outback

Yeah, as you can tell I like to have a little too much fun with temporary paint. but notice the grille in this picture...

.... and then notice the grille in this picture. I switched over to a grille from a 95 Legacy L. cleaned up the front end ALOT.

nice ride though i think going more custom on the sounds is better be sure to upgrade your door speakers and tweeters if you have them and think about upgrading your brakes also expensive but well worth it

Hey nice Subie!! You should check out MySubie.com. It's a new Subaru social network w/ tools to help enthusiasts find parts, reviews, mods, pics, events, and more. Let me know what you think.

Cool ride, You should put some AT tires on that if you can find some that fit. Then you'd really be flinging mud!

You get 5 stars, sweet ride. Come checkout the Acura NSX and give me a rate please, a nomination for show of the week would be cool too.

how did you manage to do 140mph in that thing considering the PCM limits the top speed to about 115. I know this for a fact because we maxed out my friend's subie @ about 115 when we hit the factory set governer which cant be taken off unless you reprogram the PCM, and of course get a different transmission.
