I currently own several Ford Mavericks, and a Mustang or other Ford product from time to time but I really enjoy these cars. You dont see them everyday, everybody and their mom doesnt own one and if you present one at a car show or cruise-in, then chances are it's going to be one of the few if not the only one there.

This particular one is a 1971 2dr. This car is particularly special in it's own way I guess. It was ordered as a standard 2dr sedan, with Grabber Blue Paint (code:J) and a painted White top (code:M). Most of these cars that were ordered with a 'colored' top were vinyl but a few were just painted.

This car was also ordered with the optional 210 HP 302 2v V8 engine, and automatic C4 transmission. It also features power steering, optional 3.00:1 rear axle ratio, the optional accent package and was also equipped with factory air conditioning. The factory A/C components have been removed and is no longer on the car.

I just had the car painted at a local body shop. It's not a $10K paint job but it looks REALLY good and for a daily driver I am very pleased with it. I also added some late model mustang wheels to it for a 'newer' touch. Kind of an old school meets new school kinda thing. They're 17x9" polished Bullitt wheels wrapped with 245/45/ZR17 BFGoodrich Comp T/A tires. A 1" spacer was added to the front and a 1.25" spacer was added to the rear of each tire in order for the rims to fit accordingly and I think they turned out great!

Here's a snapshot of the car right after I got it road worthy...

Nice and clean lookin Ford you've got there. Luvin' the bright "smurf" custom paint job and killer mods you've got equipped; 5* on a job well done - keep up the good work! Swing by sometime and tell me whatya think of mine.
