gweg_b's 2001 Pontiac Bonneville

Welcome to my CarDomain page featuring my Pontiac Bonneville!!

This is my 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, with the S/C Series II 3800. Yes, you read that right, this baby is supercharged! I bought this car on January 12, 2008, after a second expensive fix for my 1995 Buick LeSabre. With me doing a lot more travel for work, and my Buick quickly aging, I needed something newer, that could hold up longer. Long story short (full story on page 2), I found this Bonneville, and loved it the moment I got into it!!

This car is very new to me, and I know very little about it other than the engine. For now, it's pretty much almost stock (mods on page 5), but I have plans for this car down the road.

Below, are a couple of shots of both my cars, together (both pictures taken from page 6).  In no way by me owning this car (Bonneville) that it means I have given up on the LeSabre. I will always keep working on that car:

Be sure to check out my first ride, a 1995 Buick LeSabre Custom !!

Here are some recent shots that I got of the car right after I gave it a good washing and waxing. It's sitting in my aunt's driveway in these pictures (yes that is an older Bonneville on the street, but I don't know the person who owns it). More pictures and pages coming very soon!!!!

Personally, I really think this is a sharp looking car. I didn't like Bonnevilles when I didn't know crap about cars, but I have a new found respect for them. Yours is particularly nice Greg. I really think it will be a monster once you spend some cash on her. Cheers!

Hey man, thanks for the comment! I'm trying to get my cardomain pages back to where they are up to date and all again. Probably will add more to the Buick's and fix up the truck's later on this week. Your Bonneville is looking good!

hey i also had the same problem with my 03's trunk leaking. i removed all the carpet and there is 2 sunroof drains one on each side, those may be clogged or loose? that was my problem and i have not had a leak again! hope that could help some bro.

Your Bonnie looks great to me, Try using Turtle wax Ice paste, Or Eagle One Nano wax paste, they both bring out a really deep shine with NO WHITE RESIDUE, which really helps hide small scratches and swirl marks. I kinda lean towards the Nano wax, sometimes the Ice will get some haze when out in the hot sun, it will wipe off but tends to be a pain at shows. Good luck with your problems, I think the Bonnies are worth it.

Hey Greg. hang in there. at some point everything that breaks u will have replaced. I've had some bad luck with my Bonne as well. I bought with 73k miles 3 days later the LIM needed replacing. Dealer fixed that. the Cat was No Good. thank god it was under Warranty cuz the exhaust is one piece would have cost $1000.00 to replace. The drivers side window regulator was replaced by the dealer just before i bought it my trunk leaks water, water gets into the front drivers floor as well. and 1 week ago i developed a Rod Knock with 75k miles on the odometer. Rod Broke on the way to the repair shop. had to be towed. I just bought a used motor with 42k miles for $1500.00 + i spent another $250.00 in parts for tuneup and gaskets. gonna cost me another $1000.00 for the install. Looks like my total is gonna be about $3000.00 i better not have any more problems.... Wish me luck...lol
