1995 Honda Inspire 4Dr Sedan 2.5L 4Spd Auto 5Cylinder Custom Turbo Show Car

Kustom_Probez's 1995 Honda Inspire

PHOTO: What The Car Looks Like ATM. Will update when I have it, and have done some more of my own work to it (rims shown dont come with it, it came with a set of CHROMES, shown on Page3). And the car does NOT sit that Low (they had no springs or shocks in it for this photo it now has new springs).

PHOTO: Not this car, but this is what it would have looked like BEFORE being modified. Photo taken off another website, but you can now see how much work has been done to it!

I bought it off a guy who moved to Australia (from New Zealand) and he needed to sell it as was costing him too much money for storage it & well he couldn't drive it so no point owning a car that you can never drive! He said he spent $30G on it, but I cant believe that now, as everything was a Half-assed Home job which means he did NOT pay any Pros to do any work, car was WAY worst than I expected. Needed heaps of engine work & still needs some TLC as listed below. But otherwise, not a bad steal for $5G as-is I guess?

Mechanic had got it going so I flew down to find out he was all shit! They closed for the Holidays so I couldnt do anything (couldnt ask for money back, problems fixed etc). Car is stalling & wont run smoothly, so have to get it Transported home, waste of time flying down! Heres a quick list of what the Mechanic "supposedly" done (cost me all up $4700) to get it drivable but it actually isn't:- Piggyback ECU, New custom sump plug (turbo oil return line), complete engine flush & new oil + filter, TD04 Turbo fully rebuilt (supposedly), re-wired battery, hooked up all hoses + BOV + Wastegate + Fuel Reg, fully inspected car (engine, wiring, suspension, etc) supposedly for any problems & did not mention how really bad most of it was (useless bastards!) And then I found out the suspension was f-cked so got new springs and is now a bit better (cost me an extra $630 for springs + fitting) but need the suspension to be fully looked at when I finally get the car home as it still has bad steering etc. But once car is mint again (to drive & look at) I will be selling it to recover my money spent & then finish building my Probe GT.

I basically need to get the engine fully inspected once I have finally got the car in my possession and get it tuned & running good. And a few other bits to tidy up here & there (nothing major) appearance wise.

So yeah, the previous owner AND the mechanic fucked me over! Hopefully not much more $ and she be a minter. Owes me $10330 already + all the above which will be done when I get it home + Transporter fee to get it to my place...... Damn! This car is costing me heaps!!

SO, Whats been done by the previous Owner?

I've decided not to do any further Mods to the car. I am going to get it driving good (tune it properly etc) then sell it to raise funds for my other projects.

PAGE2 is Photos I took off the auction that I bought the car thru. If you search CarDomain you will  find the previous owners page for this car! Cause I did! If you find His page you will see some photos of it at an AutoSalon & some "of the build" photos. Some photos are also what I have taken when I went to pick it up, but couldnt drive it home...

Hey, I remember seeing this for sale on Trade Me and thinking what an awesome car, but after reading the list of shit you've had to put up with, I feel your pain dude! I have a question regarding the turbo set up (I have the same series engine), is it fully up and running as a turbo engine, or was that stuff all put on for show only? I asked the dude this question when it was on Trade Me but got a vauge reply which is why I left it. Can you give me as much info the turbo set up as possible, especially the ECU used? I would appreciate it, thanks :)
