I added the hood dampers. Chozn4service's 2006 Honda ElementThese are a plus as far as I'm concerned when it comes to under the hood "things to do". Not having to use that prop stick that Honda is known for is so, so nice. Pop the hood release and raise it like most US cars. I chose the carbon fiber dampers over the chrome ones. They give the Precious just what she needed and I have another modification in mind that will just make it look off the hook, once I find some time to pull it off. The dampers are from NRG but I obtained them through IslandMotorSports and they're the ones listed for the Acura TSX Chozn4service's 2006 Honda Element

and the model number was HD-103CF. I know my service guys appreciate the things that I've done as it makes their job easier when they have to get under the hood to work.  Chozn4service's 2006 Honda Element

I also added the RAZO pedal pads. Again, I went with the carbon fiber look on these as well. They flow nicely with the carbon fiber dash kit I have.  Chozn4service's 2006 Honda Element    These pedal pads give a nice look as you look into the car and at the floor board. Chozn4service's 2006 Honda ElementBefore, you never really noticed the stock pads but now, the look is awesome (most over used word in the English language) and they have a nice feel to them too. I've seriously thought about adding a small LED to the upper under dash area now, just to had a warm glow so the pads can be seen during night time driving.

I also redid my eyelids Chozn4service's 2006 Honda Element on my headlights. I've done this mod now, 5 times and never really satisfied with my effort. Chozn4service's 2006 Honda ElementI'm always looking to do things differently and better than the last time. Even this redo is much more simple than previous versions, it looks better to me. Only time will tell if I allow it to stay, or fad away and do it all over again.

Thanks Chief! As I've always said, there are people who inspire others and you have been one of those people for me. The Precious has come a long way since Jan. 2006 when I pulled her off of Penske's lot. Now, with 7200 miles on it, I'm at a point where I want to drive it more but also at a crossroads to let her go. If I had a son or daughter worthy I would hand her down. Again, I'm in a holding pattern and now that an alarm, remote start and the Push Button starter has been put on, the cash flow has to stop until I know for certain what garage Precious will be parked in. I know I've had fleeting thoughts of this once before and it past just as quickly as it came but this time, circumstances are different and the time frame of this action has lingered for more than just a few months now. We'll see what happens but again, thanks for the accolades. Precious will never be a Darth Raider but definitely she could be a kissin' cousin. ;-) I also have to give some love to JSM00th, Angelique,Burn, Hatch and Wasted on their insightful mods and input. Like I've said, the Element is always a work in progress being the canvas for the artist, that being us. Peace!
