The wife and I purchased the car on July 19, 2008. I always wanted an Austin Sprite or MG Midget, ever since my room mate had one in college 30 years ago. When my wife decided she wanted a high mpg car, I saw my opening! These little sports cars get GREAT mpg and are much cheaper than other used econo boxes.
So the wife and I started searching the internet. One day last week while I was at work I got an excited call from the wife, "I found the car I want." She had talked with the seller and after I checked out the web site I agreeded. The attached pictures and the following description were all we had to go on besides the phone call. We are in the process of swapping money and the title, with the plan to get the car registered in WV, then drive to Wisconsin this weekend and drive that puppy home - ~680 miles in a 30 year old car.
