Hi, my name is kyle, im new to cardomain, and im brandy new to "hooking up" cars... SO, my car is almost completely stock, I've had it for like two weeks, and the mods im planning to do to it WILL happen, unlike people who claim to be doing all this crap to their cars yet obviously don't have the funding.

No, it does not go 0-60 in 2.3 seconds.
No, i am not going to rice it out.

Everybody makes modding your car out to be so hard that you have to take it to some shop to get things done. I have come to find out that people are just completely fkn stupid so they think its hard and that most of this crap is easy as hell. I've never touched the insides of a car before and i've already replaced various sockets in the car, installed my own lighting stuff, etc. But yeah anyway im a newbie, so go easy on the insults :P

Future additions:
- Fog-lights (stock ones, ordered them today, gonna get em thurs/friday, throwing em in myself)
- Greddy MX Exhaust (550$ is the best i've found so far)
- Replace whole interior speaker system with Infinity Kappa series. (not the superduper best, but good for the money) (totalling like 450$ max i think)
- New head unit (probably buying my friends when he buys an alpine or something)
- Cheepy Subwoofers/amp (i just want it to sound nice INSIDE, dont give a shit about what people OUTSIDE my car hear)
- DVD Player/In-dash screen (way down the road, not even a definite) and ps2 (already HAVE this, but i want to somehow dismantle it and fit all the parts into my glove-box if i ever do the, then mount the cd tray into my dash so its an 'in-dash' ps2 :P)

I recently purchased it from a guy in brooklyn using autotrader.com, actually. At first I was a bit skeptical about actually looking for a car using it, but the car turned out to be in amazingly good quality and exactly what the guy said it was.

Got it for $4,000 US on the nose :D
ANNNNND it came with a cheapass pioneer head-unit, and actually a very nice VIPER alarm system.

Anyway, I bought it because I got into a bit of a head-on collision in my old car going 50mph.

(94 white grand-am 2dr beater, although served me very well and i have NO COMPLAINTS >:D fkn thing saved my life too)

The aftermath:

Some stupid bitch hit me head on and my car did like a 360, hers did a 180, i had to climb out the windows (magical power windows still worked even though the doors were jammed shut)
seatbelt broke my collar bone (this was like three weeks ago) but its healed now, heh.

ANNNYWAY here's me and my car:

All the work i have done on it so-far is almost completely cosmetic:

1) Built a mount for my Dell Axim Pocket PC that is clipped to the vents so i can use it for driving directions, whatever. its actually very useful as opposed to just being a gimmick.

And actually, it holds the thing VERY stable and i've had no issues with it after three or four days of regular driving. We shall see what the future holds >:o

Did i forget to mention that i can get on the internet while on the road? :D

2) Made myself a switch-plate that i glued to the removable dash-plate. Made it using a black plastic paper-holder(those stackable paper-holding shelves, for whatever) and a dremel tool to cut out the flat black plastic bottom of it so i could actually cut it using a table-saw.

I duct-taped it (so it would not crack when cutting it) and marked out all my measurements and cut out the rectangular piece using a standard table-saw. I then used a dremel tool to CAREFULLY carve out the center rectangular holes (this took me over three hours) and popped in the switches.

Glued it to my dash from behind, so its perminant, but easy to access by removing the dash-plate you have to remove ANYWAY to get at anything your doing. I currently only have two switches hooked up. One for the front mini-neons (they make the foot-areas glow blue) and rear neons (which i wired under the center-console and mounted on the back of the seats, and no wires show at ALL, and also made it so that it allows for seat movement without messing anything up)

3) Mounted a power converter to the passenger side side-paneling on the center console so i can use normal appliances on the road (laptop, whatever) using heavy-duty velcro

4) OH YEAH! i also bought like a 10$ cellphone holder that happened to fit the thing ALREADY on the back of my Motorola t720 phone clip and mounted it next to my steering wheel so that i can see who's calling me while im driving without really having to take my eyes off the road >:O

THIS WAY I DO NOT DIE BECAUSE SOMEONE COMPLETELY WORTHLESS THAT I DIDNT WANT TO TALK TO ANYWAY CALLED ME, CAUSING ME TO LOOK AWAY FROM THE ROAD AND CRASH INTO SOMEONES RICE MOBILE >:/

....oh yeah and a K/N air filter, yeehaw. 0.5hp more! VROOM VROOOOM!

SOOO... Here is a nice little shot of my front interior/dash:

Here's a close-up of the dash:
(i know the clip for my PC is ghetto, its bent metal, but im going to cover it in black fake-leather or cloth or something so it looks nice when i get a chance. i just made it a few nights ago, after all) ---- (ALSO NOTE: closer view of switch-plate at the bottom of image)

Here's a shot of the rest of the car, which is in suprisingly good condition:

Well all infiniti's are good cars as long as you take care of them and treat them right it'll last literally forever. However i at least would put 18 inch rims on it and tint the windows.

Hey nice G20!! You have the POcket PC hooked up to anything? Yeah the car is in real good shape. That interior is spotless, and leather in pristine condition. Well keep me posted and come take a look at my ride.
