On Monday July 14, 2008, at around about 9:15 AM, i got into a really bad accident in my 1991 toyota tercel. I was coming out of a Duncin Donuts parking lot onto wet, slipper, hard rain conditions. i was not going any more than 25 MPH, when i glanced down to my speed guage for a split second, i then look up and see a big giant small-school bus stopped in the middle of the road. as i saw the bus, i ripped the E-Brake, and put the car in 1st, then let go of the clutch to lock up the trans-axles. my wheels DID in fact lock up, but because of the slippery conditions, my tires just slid and couldn't gain grip, traction, or control ont he wet pavement. i then slid into the rear bumper of the bus. I hit the bus extremely har. in fact, when i hit the bus, my chest slammed into the steering wheel, my knee hit the shifter cutting my knee, and i slammed my face into the top of the steering wheel. the car is just about totalled. now im trying to look for another Toyota Tercel so i can get to work on it. i love the car because it is very reliable and affordable with gas prices. it is also one of the most basic-every-day driver cars. the following are soem pictures of the accident. as you can see. a 2 Ton School Bus Vs. a 1,300 Pound Sport-Sub-Compact car.... the bus wins. only minor bumper damage to the bus. Before i leave off with the pictures, i'd like to say that obviously i had someone watching over me. i honestly dont know how else i survived that accident with no airbags in the car.

My name is Mike. i live in cherry hill, new jersey, and i am the proud owner of a 1991 Toyota Tercel 2 door coupe. currently, the car is a mess. i currently don't have any money to really work on the car, and the front end was the victim of a hit and run. but i have ideas for the car.... the following is what i plan to do to the car.
Engine Swap
The stock OEM Engine is an Inline 4, 1.5 liter, 12-valve, EFI, SOHC engine. It is a 3E-FE engine. the tranny is a 4-speed stick. i plan to swap this engine with a 1.5 liter, Inline 4, DOHC, 16 valve, Turbocharged JDM engine. the JDM engine will coem with a 5 speed stick. the name for the engine is 4E-FTE and can be found/seen on this site....

This is a picture for just an idea of the engine w/o the aftermarket turbo/intercooler/intake

Once i get this engine, i plan to change the Turbo that comes with it. it is a stock turbo and intercooler, so i plan to change them and get a HKS or GReddy turbo and intercooler.
Now for the actual list of what i will do after the engine/tranny swap. all in order of exactly how i will do it.
-Weapon-R Short RAM Intake
-Full custom exhaust (Excluding muffler)
-HKS 3 1/2" muffler
-Rims and tires (2 sets. one set is a heavy, durable shiny rim for everyday driving with Falken Zeix tires. my second set will be a very lightweight carbon fiber or alloy set of rims with Toyo Proxes PX4 on them. the second set will be used for the track or drifting. both sets will be 17" rims)
-B+G Sport Springs (lowers about 1 1/2")
-Wildwood 4-Piston performance brakes with Drill slotted cooling holes
-56" Pro-X Carbon Fiber Wing
-Custom Carbon Fiber Hood
-EVO 3 Full body kit
-Verticle Door Conversion Kit (Lambo doors)
-Verticle Trunk Conversion kit (lifts the trunk upwards as opposed to the standard 90 degree angle)
-Custom metallic/Pearlescent paint
-Neons (under dash, under car, in engine bay, in trunk, and --under the front seats)
-Arospeed strut bar
-Arospeed sway bar
-Custom redone interior (consists of new racing seats, carbon fiber dash, new carpeting, new back seat, and new pedals)
I will post up more pictures soon. i havent had a time to take any pictures. once i get my sound system put in, i will post more pictures. and as i do the work, i will add in the more and mroe pictures. the picture below is the damage left done from the hit and run.
