This is my most recent Mopar. It is a numbers matching GTX that I drug home from Texas against my better judgement. Long story short, the seller really overstated the condition of the car. I should have kicked him in the nuts and walked away. After driving close to 900 miles to get it though, the thought of returning home with an empty trailer outweighed my better judgement.

It is a U-code (4 barrel) automotic. A previous owner installed a very nice 6 barrel set-up. This owner also converted from a column shift to a console shift. It puts the power down through a 3.23 geared 8 3/4 sure grip.

I installed the 17" Telstars on Kuhmo rubber (still have the 14" Rallyes).

It's got manual drum brakes and manual steering. It is a very low option car, with a fender tag almost as short as my curious yellow car.

It is a driver quality car. Ran great (after an ignition overhaul and rejetting the center carb), and since it's not a show pony, I could leave it in the grocery store parking lot with little fear of irreparable harm.

I just saw one of these in Chevy High Performance, and I thought it was very intersting looking. The front of the 71-72 Charger/ Road Runner, and the body of the 70-74 Challenger/ Barricuda. I absolutely love it, and this one is a perfect example! 5 stars for sure!

Great car, and like you said, you can enjoy driving this beast. If you havent visited my page lately, I have posted a couple of original 1971 Chrysler - Plymouth sales brochures. Check out what your car looked like in the original sales brochure, and some of the styles and options that were available in 1971. Its kinda cool! Thanks.

I like it but I'm not in the market. I like that body style though. The rims make for a nice fit and look.5*'s
