This is a 1952 Pontiac Chieftain "Eight" 2 door coupe. It was brought into my shop class at school after having sat in someones yard for over 40 years.

Work I've done on it:
Replaced the distributor cap, rotor, points and condensor, plug wires, plugs, battery, changed the oil and tranny fluid.

It has a straight 8 engine and a Hydramatic Transmission, complete with Highway Drive Gear suitable for higher speed cruising and City Drive Gear for steep grades and stop and go traffic.

She runs, she drives, she stops, but unfortunately the owner came back for her, and I'll never see her again.
