I owned this car from fall 1998 to spring of 2001. Chrysler made only about 800 of these for the 1970 model year. Fewer than 30 were painted EV2 Torred (Hemi Orange).

This particular example was equipped with a 318-2V, 904 Torqueflite, white interior and cruise control. It was a 99% rust free southwest car. Most of it's life was spent in Arizona.
By the time I purchased it, it had undergone at least one repaint, in a shade of orange slightly brighter than the original. The original motor was no longer in the car, but the numbers matching block had followed the car through several owners.
While I owned it, I had some rust repaired on the lower quarter panel, and a few dents pulled out of it. I also replaced the body side moldings, and had a new top installed.
This car fulfilled my desire to own a convertible at least once in my lifetime. It did not, however, satisfy my need for speed. the 318 performed admireably, but was better suted for cruising the turnpike than battling at the stop light.

Being such a good cruiser, I put a lot of miles on the car. I drove it year round provided there was not salt on the roads. It made two trips to the Mopar Nationals as well as numerous regional shows hundreds of miles from home.
I eventually sold the car to the brother of the gentlemen from whom I bought it. It now resides in the Twin Cities area.
I recently stumbled across some more pictures of the car. Enjoy!
