After rebuilding the "totaled" car

This is basically what my new motor looked like when i got it except it wast together. Everything is basically just sitting on the motor for an idea.
Beings how it was a block and a box full of parts when i got it i figured now would be the best time to paint the block.So i did and i began the reassmebly. new gaskets and apiston rings. new oilpan and valve covers. still waiting for my piston rings to come in. there a special order because there .40 over. this is my new supercharged 350 bored .40 over with a 555 cam in with a huge lift. slp headers, march pulley system and a chrome water pump. and this is just the beginning.....
Every body has chrome butterfly hats. I painted mine black to match the stripes goin on my car. As far as the butterfly flaps go, i painted the same red as my car but tinted the clear black. It gave it a kandied look without the metallic.Over all it turned out great. I plan on airbrushing true fire on the black as well.
So here it is almost finished.my supercharged 350.

just about done.here it is new edelbrock tall valve covers, new edelbrock breathers,new chrome alternator with the red bowtie, and my slp polished headers are all installed.just needs the belts and msd ignition system.getting laid off kinda puts a hold on things.anybody who works at a chevy dealership is is probably feeling the pain of these government bailouts too.lol
