Hi my name is Matt and these are a few pics of my car. I got it in July 2008 and I have very big plans for this car! Its a 1988 Toyota Celica All trac turbo. It has the 3sgte engine in it from a 92' all trac wrc. And I have been working at it ever since.

The seats are VERY cracked cause the guy I bought it from was a dumbass and let the car sit in his backyard for a year with no cover on it in the sun. I am planning on keeping these seats though and reupholstering them.

Just a couple more days and Ill be driving it... patiently waiting... for a valve lock!

UPDATE!!! The engine has been rebuilt!!!!!!

It took about 3 months before I got the money together to fix her. And then another 3 weeks before but I got her running! AMAZING! lol

Resurfaced head, took 19 off! acid dip, compression test.

New water pump, timing belt, alt. belt, spark plugs, fuel filter, thermostat, head gasket, arp head studs, engine and coolant flush. oh and a valve lock lol, lost one. Damn thing runs like a champ now!

Still cant drive it though, the diff mount is so bad that its not driveable. Easy fix, i wont spend more than 20 bucks. Im scraping out the old rubber and putting liquid polyurethane in there. It will take a week to cure but after that the car will be driving!

Update: November 1st

Last night, halloween, i got the diff mount together. I decided to get a toyota new mount. Filled it with gear oil and drove it! It drove perfect. Until about 20 miles into the drive the engine just shut off when I was doing 45. I coasted into the grass and got it towed back to my house. Freaking sucks. Im thinking I broke the timing belt. Hopefully I didnt destroy any valves. We'll see..... on Nov 3rd.

Update: Alot later... August 24th

The car is my daily driver now. Over the past several months i sold it and rebought it not too long ago. I missed it too much. It's painted black now, has a custom exhaust, windows tinted, cd player, short shifter, new alternator, starter, oxygen sensor, dist cap and rotor, spark plugs, and i painted a few parts, and cleaned things, also took the back seat out and back panels and smoked the lenses, new rear pads, new cv axles in front, new tranny gears. Not too much more things but it looks and drives great now. I need to get some updated pictures on here soon.
