This is a long-term project of mine (10 years and running). It began life as a silver '86 Monte Carlo SS and while the engine was being built, the rest of the car rusted away around it. A donor car was brought in (the '88 SS it is today) and the engine and rebuilt tranny swapped into it.

Engine:
350 block from a '99 C/K pickup, bored .30 over
Flat-top pistons
Dart heads
Edelbrock intake
Demon carb
K&N filter
Custom long-tube headers with dual cats and 2.5" exhaust

The interior was redone with an OEM carpet kit and a leather kit originally designed for a Buick Grand National. New door carpets and vinyl tops, a bowtie mirror, and Taz there give it a clean, off-the-showroom-floor look without being to garish (it is a musclecar, you know).
Door handles are shaved, directionals blacked out, and it has a fiberglass hood and complete nose. A head-unit, amp, dual 10" JLs in the trunk, and a Lauren Engineering spoiler round it out. A Buick GNX fender flare kit is being fabbed up along with a Lauren Engineering body kit to someday house some 10-12" wide rear rubber. Some traction bars and big sway bars will go along with it.
