My 1976 Buick Electra Park Avenue Limited.
Its been owned by my father for 13 or so years now and is the last of the many Buicks he has owned. Now i look after it, and hopefully it will stay in the family for many more years to come. Its uneconomical, barely gives any miles to the gallon, thanks to its 455ci V8, and its way too low to the ground to use on most of our horrible roads. Plus there are barely any parts available here and very very few skilled mechanics to maintain it. Ever increasing gas prices means its used far less than it used to but its still entirely functional and is a blast to drive. People still stop in their tracks to stare when we take her out. Was originally "antique silver" but now we've painted it a pearl grey cause the vinyl roof has faded to a far lighter shade and the interior is dark red with velour seats. The GM sticker on the driver's door says Jan1976 so im guessing it is possibly a very early production car, or i may be wrong. Soon to recieve dual exhausts and a new radiator, future plans include improving the car's performance with better heads, pistons and a new carb.
