This my 1981Pontiac Phoenix LJ 2 door Notchback. This is my first car. I bought it in May of 2005 for only $1,900. It is a fairly rare car, I've only seen 3 others: 1 '82 SJ, 1 '81 Wagon, and 1 '77 coupe with a tent made to fit one to the back when the rear hatch was open. I am slowly fixing it up. Parts are very hard to find. I've added a Jensen Stereo and a Cherry Bomb Glasspack.

The 2.8L transversly mounted V6 and 3 Speed Auto Trans. It's small, but it has a lot of get-up and go. I was surprised the first time I drove it.

Close Up of the Engine. Not much room.

Would look really sweet with some 18s or something on it. Nothing flashy. Just make it more modern. Very rare indeed now that GM is killing Pontiac. Check out my Neon sometime.

I own the hatchback version and have found the lj to stand for luxury junk phoenix's are a huge headache in maine because they're low and have lots of panels that salt loves to build up in but there great little cars to tool around in!!!

Hi there I own a website about the front wheel X-Cars from 1980 to 1985. The site is www.chevycitationforever.net. has information about swaps to technical information and has a forum and online repair manuals. Go check it out... Sly
