Where ive been all the times,so i was wondering what the really difference was.
So not bad as i say,but see for your self.
140.3hp @ 8167rpm and 131nm @ 4620rpm and still have 120nm @ 8000rpm.
Well i had some troubles, becouse my engine was making a lot of noise when i sprinted with the Swift @ the Japanese Tuning day 01-04-07.
It seems that the krankshaft bearings where having to much space between it,so it did run but with a lot of noise??? :-(
So i taked off the cilinderhead and gearbox andso, and buyd a 2nd hands underblock and installed it and mounted the clinderhead and gearbox andso.
Also mounted a lightened flywheel an a new clutch.
I also filled the engine mounts with some special kit for it,so the are stiffer now.
I did it al by myself,so it was a lot of work.
But its running again, and i am enjoing the Swift again.
Taking apart all the parts
Stiffer engine mounts.
Lightened flywheel and the new clutch.
New engine mounted.
Dont want to have this problems anymore!!
Some pics of the new painted bonnet.
Buyd a new polyester sportseat and mounted it on the orginal sledes,so i can still adjust it forwards or backwards.
A shot of my JVC cd/MP3 player and fresh installed chocke knob for the carbs.
Finaly a update.
Buyd another bonnet!
Hope to paint it soon.
Yes,a dyno run with the carbs.
No horsepower improvement (sadly),but the run great.
Better than the injection.
Blue line is the definitive result.
No dyno run, becouse the man from the company where ill go on a dyno told me that my car runs only 3 cylinders??
So we did a compression test and he told me that i only have.
8bar on cyl. 1.
6bar on cyl. 2.
8bar on cyl. 3.
8bar on cyl. 4.
Really terrible it was. :-(
But now i have a new mesure print and this comes from the Suzuki dealer.
See for your self.
The carbs give a too rich mixture so this must be finetuned first before ill go on a dyno.
Here a video from 0-160km/u (carbs not finetuned!)
Mounted the carbs and get rid of the injection.
Here a link to my quickly made vid.
Within 2 weeks il hope to get a dyno sheet.
Get the carbs today.
In about 2weeks they will be on the Swift
At last the intake is tuned!
Yeah!......quattro motorcycle carbs from a GSX-R1100 thanks to Al Junior from the Suzukituningclub.nl. :-)
They will be installed soon, and offcourse i wil go on a dyno.
