A small update.
@ tuesday the 4th i bolted the turbo off again,to grind more of the wastgate hole off.
With the wastage a little bit tighter the boost was spinnin up @ 3000rpm till 0,8bar or so.
But adter the grinding it gives 0,6bar @ 3000rpm and 0,8@ 4000rpm,so that was still to much, but i finetuned it with the wastegate and now its giving 0,65bar @ 3200rpm and still giving this till 7000rpm.
It perfect now,and i am leaving it like this.
Soon i wil go on a dyno to see whats up!? :P

Biggie big hole!

Ive been very buissy these weeks to get the Swift on the road with turbo.
First i installed the reinforced clutch @ 11-02.
And @ 16-02 i mounted the adjusted oil pan with the oil return connector on it.
@ 18-02 i installed the extractor,turbo,downpipe and intercooler.

Also made the hole for the piping towards te intake.

So it looks like this with the pipe trough it.

And the triple pillar pod is in! :-)
To install the xtra boost gauge.

@ 24-02 the Adaptronic ECU is conected and this is finetuned for the turbo setup. :-)
Offcourse there was some problems, becouse the actuator was broken. :-(
But luckily there was another person, who also had buyd a turbo setup and that was also installed that day,and he had 1 xtra. :-) :-)
So all installed and finetuned we had to see what it did.
Again a problem!
The turbo was making too much boost, and we can,t adjust it with the wastegate. :-( (stil making 0,8/0,9bar with the wastegate full open)
Terrible!!

The guys who were there that day!

He did adjust the hole of the wastegate allready,so he drove home with 0,65bar.
Lucky bastard!

So! the next day i did that 2.
This is when i did grind a little bit off.

And this is when finished.

So,mounted it again and tested it it run @ 0,6bar!
Thats awesome!

Now running with the turbo for a vieuw day's,and i love it.
It makes o,65bar @ 4000rom,and when there you are launched! :-O
GREAT!

Here is a fast made movie. (with phone)

Some wheelspin in 2nd gear, but thats becouse the road was wet.
Now i hope the car will last with this boost!?

Well......its been a vieuw months, but its time for a new page in here to show you my new project.
I get rid of the fast cams, poulies, finetuned chip and also the carbs, and bought me a 2nd hands low boost turbo setup. :-)
Its compleet with a reinforced clutch,Adaptronic adjustible ECU and offcourse an extractor, downpipe, intercooler and a turbo from an Mitsubishi.

Hopefully it wil give a max pressure of 0.6 bar,and this should be good for 140/150HP and 170/190NM of torque.

Since a week i already installed standard cams an chip and installed the reinforced clutch, and yesterday i mounted the adjusted oil cover underneeth the car.
Tomorrow ill be mounting the extractor and turbo.

Running standard with the GTi. :-(

Here some pics of the set.

And a pic from the extractor @ engine.
