this is my first 4X4 has cancer bad, auto trans, and 150,000 miles but only cost me $1000 got tires on wheels from friend for $100 also have a set of BFG Mud terains (30x9.5-15) i run when i plan on going somewhere off the road. working on build up including 2" lift, cb radio, Front locker, tow hooks. also need more recovery gear.

THis Is the truck after installing fresh springs out of a '94 Explorer four door gave me about one inch in the Rear and 1.75" in the front.

Dropped a set of 2" blocks on the rear trying to level it. brought the rear about an inch high.

Shortly after all this was done my transmission and drive shaft both went out within a week of each other. Rebuilding the trans and replacing the drive shaft gouged my build budget pretty close to the bone. but now i dont have to flush either the transfer case or transmission, they did it for me. the trans shifts great and the new drive line is twice as strong as the factory one.

I have recovered from my recent misfortune a bit so i think i can afford to buy a set of 33X9.5-15 BFGoodrich All-Terrains from my buddy, and a push bar so i have a place to mount my 6" KC lights, a CB antenna and a Silver Lake Dune flag. i think the narrow tires will fit up in the wheel wells but I still want to put the biggest spacers i can under the coils and compensate in the rear with extended shackles. also want to do a 1" body lift, but i might end up buying a 2" kit. It just dosn't sit as high as i want it to. the bigger tires should clear on the road no problem but i'll need the extra lift to clear them at fiull flex
I Picked up a nice CB Radio, A set of Half ton chevrolet tow hooks, 2 6" KC lights and the full wire harness for $75. WHAT A DEAL!
