Update:
currently undergoing lots of engine and mechanical tune ups. I'm expecting a 3rd-gen 3S-GE (180xHP N/A) engine swap sometime in the future not too long later.. when I've got a long break from college. The reason why I chose this over both the 5S-FTE and 3S-GTE, is because it still packs a mild punch and sacrifices a lot of the cost of purchasing the engine. I'm not very rich, I gave this thought for over half a year, this would most benefit me for my performance needs. The engine's cost efficient, and performance isn't shabby at a fraction of the cost of the 3S-GTE
Pictured is a 2nd gen 3S-GE.

Also thinking of adding erebuni #233 front fascia body kit, here's a photoshopped image with it on.

looks pretty tasty. the blackening of the rims I don't like, but I forgot to save the original and too lazy to change them back.
Here's shot of celica mutt's GT-S with the fascia.

Leading a bunch of 2000-2003 celicas, in a 2002 celica meet. Was the last one I ever attended.. Just don't have any time to go to them now.
the history...

The car was initially bought just for student purposes, getting to school and back home, a beach trip or vacation every now and then with friends.. and so on.
The car's shape was the first thing that attracted me (and many other 5th generation celica owners) to buying the car.

Months and days later, I started participating in online forums to find out more about my car, and see other people's celicas. Now you see, by then I had upgraded to the hood, JDM clear corner lights (next to the popup headlights) and some clear bumpers.

By the time I had completed of what I was thinking of how my car should look like, I started to hang out at a few celica meet's every now and then. Here's a shot back sometime, right before the headlight conversion.
Next page: the Turbo and stuff.
