UPDATE 11/4/09:  Few new pictures I took recently before my new (slightly larger) tires.  I'll have to get pictures of those shortly.

UPDATE 10/12/09:  Haven't beat my 15.07 yet, but at the same track (Pittsburgh Raceway), I am trapping consistantly over 91 mph now.  Also my interior makeover is nearly complete!  Instead of having everything tan, there are now black accents and chrome interior door handles.  Also below are some more recent pictures from this summer and a shot of my 15.07 timeslip.

UPDATE 7/31/09:  New best time of 15.07 at 90.65.  Also nailed a 15.37 at 91.5ish at another track.

UPDATE 3/19/09:  New mods!  70mm throttle body (up from 65mm) and a ported and polished intake plenum!  Car feels stronger, should be in the 14s now.

UPDATE 2/16/09:  No mod updates!  It's been a slow winter for the car... I'm still trying to recover financially from my last round of mods.  However, I do have another 'mod.'  My rear fascia is totally dechromed.  Let me see if I have a picture of that laying around...   Also I have conquered the world's steepest public street.  Canton Avenue, in Beechview (near Pittsburgh, PA) has a 37% grade.  Research it, I'm not making this up.  Also I've included a shot of my 15-second timeslip, my car waiting in the staging lanes at the track, and my interior featuring the semi-gloss blacked-out fake woodgrain.

UPDATE 10/28/08:  I ran at the track... with a horribly feathered launch, I ran a 15.38 @ 90.25 mph.  I KNOW there is another 2-3 10ths to be had there.  Oh, well, 14s by spring!

UPDATE 10/23/08:  Finally, some performance mods!  Gone are the open-dif. 2.73s.  In its place are some Ford Racing 3.73s and a Ford Racing posi differential.  Also I now have a Mercury Marauder airbox and an 80mm MAF (up from 70mm).  Also I have a 91-octane tune from Blue Oval Chips.  What a difference!  I'm going to the track Sunday so wish me luck!  Also my listed top speed is driveshaft rotational speed limited.

UPDATE 9/15/08:  Lots of changes!  It's been a busy three months for the '04.  Modifications include:

21mm rear swaybar, '04 PI zip tube, aluminum driveshaft, blacked-out PI rear fascia, surround-painted honeycomb grille, 2.25" dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40s, and I removed the hubcaps.  Also recently the fake woodgrain is no more... it's now semigloss black.  Next up?  3.55 or 3.73 gears with track-lok.  Right now these 2.73s are killing me.
