This is my 1987 Suzuki that I saved from its grave. I started by doing a SOA lift and removing the destroyed rear body, as well as cut out the wheel wells. Then a hillbilly bumper was fabbed to protect the front end as well as house the winch. I also mounted some off road lights below the windshield. I figured if they?re mounted on the bumper they would get destroyed. After a season of beating the hell out of it I desided to build it right. First I gave the engine an overhaul and tune up. I also installed a rebuilt transmission as well as a new clutch. The gears in the rear differential were welded to create a permanent locker. I fabbed a new rear body using mainly polished diamond plate. I used trailer lights as tail lights and driving lights as reverse lights...which are bright as hell. I mounted the snorkel beside the passenger side off road light to keep it out of the way. I installed racing seats to reduce weight as well as to get rid of the nasty seats that were in it. This is a picture of a quarter being test fit.
