I purchased the car with a blown transmission and other repairs needing to be done. It also has some pointless "ricer" modifications I am undoing and replacing with stock. I have been working on replacing broken/stupid parts.

Finished:

Part of the center consol was damaged/missing so I swapped out everything with pieces I got for free that had come from a sedan with grey interior:

The dipstick had been broken off and had a screw in it so I got a replacement:

Over the winter it looks like some field mice had been hiding in the car, I put traps in the car and caught 3 total. I later found what was probably the nest under the center consol. Fortunately they do not appear to have damaged anything.

The seal for the driver's side window was torn up, got a replacement brand new from Ford:

There were some chrome windshield washers on the car when I got it, they looked stupid and were in terrible shape, I picked up some stock ones from a salvage yard:

The tailights that came with the car had been tinted, I disliked this look and it might be illegal also. I was given a set of unmodified taillights which I swapped onto the car right away:

I thought that looked real cool but it was kinda weird depending on the light so I found a reflector in a salvage yard:

Upgrades:

As I do not have a garage and wasn't driving the car during the winter I got a car cover for it.

I picked up a set of stock floormats from a member on the teamZX2 forums. These are a perfect fit and in my opinion look better than any aftermarket floormats.

Most ZX2s come with one horn installed on the passenger side of the car. However there is a bolt hole and on some cars with a fully optioned wire harness a wire on the opposite for hooking up a second horn. I pulled the horn off a salvage yard car and hooked it up to my car. Sounds a good bit louder with both horns.

Thanks you. The Interior is where I spend my time. Hence the effort I've spent in making it one of a kind. I like what you have done to your car. It hase progressed really well. Keep it up. Rich

I just wanted to let you know that I joined your group ERDT today. I've been to the site years ago, but haven't recently. I spend a lot of time on TeamZX2. I'll have to stop by ERDT again sometime soon.

Thanks for the comments. I don't think I've ever seen a ZX2 before. Nice car and 5*. Keep up the good work.
