This is my 1988 Mustang LX Coupe. Options include a 5 speed, cruise, power locks, 3.08s, rear defroster, and A/C. I bought the car in Fall of 2006 after finding it for sale by the original owner on "Cars-on-line". It was bone stock with only 46 thousand miles on the clock, and after going to look at it, I just had to have it. My parents helped me out all the way, and I'll admit that. They fronted me the 7 thousand I needed, via a cash advance through Chase Bank, and told me the monthly bill was mine. Then, a week later, she was sitting at home in my driveway....

The mileage says 48,880. I put only about 2000 miles on her since I've bought it....Also, shes got crank windows, just the way I like it.

Buying this car put my other Mustang project on hold, but can you blame me? From the minute I drove it the Stock nature of the car had me hooked, and I never wanted to stop racking up the miles. For a stocker the car was quick, and I was convinced the car would run strong at the track. Since then my goal has been to get into the 12's without doing serious modifications (ex: Intake,heads,cam,bore/stroke. See stipulations page 2). Personally I think my goal is very possible and is going to happen before the end of 2008. Tell me what you guys think....

Hey thanks for the comment. You car looks very nice as well. My car runs great on speed density. You can easily do a heads and intake combo without affecting the SD. The cam is where it gets tricky. I have a small lunati oval track cam. With the speed density cars you can use a cam but the duration cannot be large because it will affect the vaccumm and how it runs. But if you want to do heads and an intake that should be no problem. Im not exactly sure what mine runs at the track, but I would like to find out in the next couple of weeks. My buddies car has very similar mods as me and ran a 12.5 on DR's so thats what im hoping for.
