Suspension Modifications
April/May '09
All my bushings, tie rods, control arms and trailing arms in the suspension were replaced. Long story short, my wheel alignment was really bad and my car would randomly jerk to one side or the other, so I took it into Honda and they quoted me $3000 to fix the damage caused by just wear and old age. I ended up purchasing all the necessary products for discount through a buddy and we jacked the car up in my boyfriend's garage and worked on it in the evenings for about a week or 2. Everything was so rusted/ceased that we had to cut most of the bolts out and each one took about half hour to an hour (or more) to pound out. It was a long painful process but it was so worth it.
Here are some pictures before the parts were replaced...

You can see that all the bushings are cracked and worn. You can also see that my shocks are shot, which have not been replaced yet.
