Welcome to my CarDomain page.  This setup is for my 2007 Honda Civic LX.  This is my 4th car, & the second that I bought with my own money.  This is also my 1st Japanese car & my 2nd import in general.  I've done some minor upgrades to it, mainly cosmetic things.  I bought it because I liked its figure, its gas mileage, performance & cosmetic potential, & its reliability.  This is my only car, but I still have fun with it.  I race it on the drag strip once in a blue moon, all for fun. I will soon try to race it on a road course. So far, my average time on the 1/8 mile strip is 10.51 with a best of 10.42.  I have not taken this car to a 1/4 mile track yet, but I plan to do so in the future.  Car & Driver tested this sedan (not my exact car, but the same type) & its tested 1/4 mile time is 16.5 seconds @ around 81 MPH.  The engine is a 1.8L SOHC i-VTEC 4-cyl; a member of the R18 family.

Performance wise, the engine is stock.  I only added a K&N OEM replacement air filter for better throttle response.  The car has a 5-speed auto tranny & weighs 2751 lbs., including the cosmetic/performance mods.  I've also added some extra lighting to the car; a set of white headlight bulbs for the front, blue LED license plate bulbs in the rear, blue dome lights & blue floorwell neons for the interior.  I also replaced my stock 6.5" speakers (front & rear) with a set of Kenwood 3-ways. Each speaker can hold 35 watts RMS & 180 watts peak.  Thanks goes out to Tweet Shop Car Audio & Tint in Theodore, AL for the install.  They did a clean install & the speakers sound great with my stock Clarion-powered head unit!

Edit: This mod is no longer installed.  I got pulled over on 5/8/09 & they were declared illegal.  So I replaced them w/some white license plate bulbs.  Pics are on page 6 (uploaded 5/11/09).  Good thing is the cop let me go. *lol*
