I just got this 98 outback, Im enjoying it a lot more than I thought i would.
11The Pioneer mp3 unit. I am replacing it when i sell this one. hopefully with a big lcd monitor unit.
I just got the short ram intake from cosmoracing.com and im installing it right now.
It took me and my friend (bhergert) about an hour and a half to take out all the old intake parts and install the new intake.
I honestly didnt expect that much of a difference out of the new intake, but the engine sounds completely different when u get on the throttle. It has a much more toned sound now and im very pleased with the new vocals. (video coming soon)
I ripped out the heat shielding that is attached to the underside of the hood. and i took off the stupid block that kept the hood scoop unfunctional, so now it has full effect. gotta finish cleaning it though. too eager to drive!
I just finished installing the kenwood slim sub, it took about a week for me to make the box, wire it, and install it. because i work every day. the box is unfinished, i still have to put some covering on it and mount the amp to the face.
I plan on tinting the windows, possibly getting some rims and tires for summer road driving, front strut bar, and maybe some flood lights, or a brush guard if i can find any that look half way decent.
