The black on the bottom is my own design but was inspired by Porsche's original.

These next few show my first design for the stone guards that were painted on, using truck bed spray liner, and added a mesh grill, before the new paint.

that's a slick 944 you got there. I'm thinking of getting one myself, im going to look at one this weekend. I know some about these cars but have never actually drove one or worked with one. Are they easy to maintain? how expensive are parts? And does it have atleast some power? ive been trying to look for a turbo or an S but cant find any, i found a nice 944 but ive heard a lot that there "sluggish" but the handlings great. Anyway any advice you got is probably more than i know since you own one. thanks

The N/A manual transmission is tough enough to handle the torque as long as you don't launch from every stoplight you come across. The turbo transmission is suggested, but a 996 transmission (cha-chinggg) is needed if you're planning on use power boosters such as turbo/supercharger/Nitrous Oxide, with super sticky tires.

No prob! That's why I did the swap - it was just too darned expensive to get Porsche to do the work (sure, I could have probably done it myself), but in the long run this way is cheaper plus I get the performance advantages (not to mention the 'cool' factor)

Josh - Thanks for stopping by and checking me out! Pretty sharp looking 944 you have there - how many miles do you have on it? The Corvette engine I have was $3500 on Craigslist. It came with harness and ECM. For the drive by wire setup, I had to get the Throttle Control Module and pedal and cable (off EBay) for an additional 75 bucks. Drive by wire is nice because you don't have to worry about trottle cables and cruise control (it's all computerized). If you need any info, feel free to write back - or check out www.porschehybrids.com!! Best of luck to you and keep up the good work!!

yeah but think about the windows...are almost the same size if not the exact same size.. Plus they put a vinal strip on the back window over the dot matrix so they only tinted up to that point and canceled on my twice because they needed two people to do the back window so they told me to come back. I came back and they told me id have to come back to get the window strip but on... thats why I go it for free because I had to come back so many times... ehh dumb people... they anger me but I loves my windows :) Now I gotta get to athens because my speaker stopped working again... my NEW one... im friggin aggravated!
