"Hurricane" is a 2001 Honda Insight manual 5-speed, very pretty electron-blue. I bought her from a guy in East Texas and they'd just had to deal with hurricanes Rita and Katrina. She now has
172,000 miles on her, with a lifetime mpg average of 68.8.
She lives in the mountains, and, like my other car, the 1984 Sentra SE, has to cross a creek whenever I go out. She's done this without complaint for 4 years. Drop-jaw amazing little car. Honda needs to make more of them. Makes it up the winding mountain roads just fine, even with 200 lbs of chicken feed in the back and my 300 lb. 6ft 4 in stepson in the passenger seat.
