I commute 500 miles/week. With Gas hitting $4.50/gal I figured it was time to trade in my Honda Element. It was fun to drive and never got stuck in the snow, but it looks like we will never see gas at $2.00/gal again. So it was time for a change.. I got the GT so I won't get bored. Who knows, if gas drops in price, maybe I'll add a Gredy Supercharger. I heard the the same supercharger that you can drop in a Scion xB will fit in a 2009 Vibe Gt. So far with Hypermileing techniques and getting stuck in traffic from time to time I'm averaging 33.6MPG during the commute. When having fun with the car and cranking the rpms up, I get around 28.5mpg. When I hit 5k miles and do my first oil change I run Mobil 1. I expect a 1-2mpg increase after the first oil change.
