I commute 500 miles/week. With Gas hitting $4.50/gal I figured it was time to trade in my Honda Element. It was fun to drive and never got stuck in the snow, but it looks like we will never see gas at $2.00/gal again. So it was time for a change.. I got the GT so I won't get bored. Who knows, if gas drops in price, maybe I'll add a Gredy Supercharger. I heard the the same supercharger that you can drop in a Scion xB will fit in a 2009 Vibe Gt. So far with Hypermileing techniques and getting stuck in traffic from time to time I'm averaging 33.6MPG during the commute. When having fun with the car and cranking the rpms up, I get around 28.5mpg. When I hit 5k miles and do my first oil change I run Mobil 1. I expect a 1-2mpg increase after the first oil change.

Sorry it took me so long to respond back. I love the stereo it has really good sound. Are you still enjoying yours? I had to subscribe to OnStar to make my insurance cheaper. I'm 23 years old and a "high risk" according to my insurance....anyways, thanks for replying back.

How did your Vibe GT do in the snow? Did you use just the stock rims and tires or did you get snow tires/rims? I am looking at buying a Vibe GT and wanted to know how they are in the snow. I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan and we get a fair amount of lake effect.

Hey bro I got the K&N kit setup for the Scion XB 2.4L which is the same layout as the Matrix and Vibe. I got mine on ebay for $250 and in my opinion it is better than the TRD because you don't have to bend or cut anything and it sounds awesome
