Hi, here's a hungarian Miata/MX-5. The car was purchased 3rd of January 2003, this is my first new car what I ever bought. I've plans to do some mods on it, the first will be the big red starter button. The next few thing will be some exterior addition: chromed and lighted inserts replacing the side reflectors, chromed washing jets (NOT illuminated!!), stainless license plate holder at the rear (already sticker plate at front), a polished stainless woven mesh grill, and polished aluminium tower strut brace.
Update from the last few months: Addded a "big red" starter button, and relocated the cigarette lighter socket under the glove compartement.
Oil and filter change at 7800km to
Castrol RS 10W60 full synthetic.
GTech Pro performance meter purchased, first trial run: ET 16.8/86.71 Mph with zero rollout, zero reaction time, standing start acc. 60' 3.061 330' 7.491 1/8 11.098/69.3Mph 1000' 14.196 60Mph 8.552 I missed the optimal shift points due my lack of experience, and shifted at 6550 instead of 7000. Max. HP in this range at the wheels is 93.4/6549, max TQ 86/4974, max G 0.531. The G not that bad regarding the full stock Bridgestone Turanza's :-) I've plans to change the stock 11,5lbs 15" Mazda alloys to 16" 10lbs
OZ Racing Superleggera MTS and the tyres to Toyo Proxes or Pirelli PZero Corsa at 215/40R16. According to the
Tire Size Calculator it'll be only 0.4% slower than stock with significant more grip. It's beautiful, isn't it? :-)
