Clean lines for a 4-door. I bought this car for 600 hundred bucks. Rear of the engine was held up by a dog leash and the tranni was in the trunk. Interior was rotted out. I purchased a '81 XJ12 for the posi unit. Interior was in good shape so I installed it in the '69. Fit well. Just had to modify a couple of things.
Nothing like a nice clean rear end!
Now that's a strange looking Jag motor! 400 ci Chevy with 488 lift juice cam, Pete Jackson gear drive, big intake manifold and Holley. A few other things. Engine turns on at 2000 and pulls past 5500 rpm. Great highway speed.
I think the front air dam and hood scoop lets folks know there is something going on under the hood. Could be the gear drive too.
An almost stock looking 1968 XJ6
