~Exhaust Mods~
Magnaflow #14236 5"x8"x14" Oval Offset/Offset 2.5"/2.5" muffler. Purchased at www.performancepeddler.com and installed by my local Midas. Installed on 6/13/08.
Dynomax Exhaust Dump #88340 2.5". I purchased this so I could better adjust the DMH e-Cutout. We installed it as close to the last cat as possible on the custom intermediate pipe. Installed on 1/15/09
DMH 2.5" Electric Exhaust Cutout. We installed the cutout as close to the last cat as possible. The sound with this thing open is literally earth shaking! It's extremely loud and I'm glad I can shut it off with the push of a button. Installled on 1/15/09.
I recently removed the cutout and installed the Dynomax block-off plate in its place. The cutout transmission seized. I probably use it three or four times a day since Jan. Removed on 4/18/09.
~Air Intake Mods~
K&N 63-2573 Series Air Charger Intake. Purchased from www.performancepeddler.com . A great purchase A must have performance upgrade. It sounds awesome, increases throttle response and looks great. I chose the 63 series over the 77 stainless version because of the 63 series OEM look and it's higher HP gain rating. You can actually feel the performance gain under your right foot! Installed on 6/14/08.
Zabteck Drive-By-Wire Modified Throttle Body. This mod really opened up the low end horsepower and torque. You can feel the increased flow through the entire RPM range. Installled on 12/11/08.
~ECM & TCM Mods~
SCT Xcal III Flash Tuner. Purchased from www.fastpartsnetwork.com and tuned by Torrie, the company owner, this is the single best mod I've done to date. I chose a 87 Economy, 87 Performance and 93 performance tune. This mod really helped me get the most out of all the other modifications. I'm looking forward to being able to edit the TCM. The truck really needs some faster and firmer shifting to help get the most from the rest of the mods.
